After completing a Short Service Commission in the British Army and gaining an ACA with PricewaterhouseCoopers, I spent the next twenty years leading varying scales of operations around the world bringing innovative solutions to major brand owners. Packaging featured strongly in the portfolio of products offered, particularly during the twelve years I lived in USA.

Prior to joining Petainer, I held a number of senior roles in different businesses in both the listed and private environments. These included being Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Co-Founder of Global Office, a serviced office business, CFO of Serco plc, a global services business and a non-Executive Director of Galliford Try plc, a UK housebuilding and construction company. I am qualified chartered accountant, having trained with Deloitte.

I have worked in the beverage industry since 2004, initially with Heuft and KHS who are based in Germany. I joined Petainer in 2009, to implement and promote the one-way keg solution for the wider market, especially for Russian customers.
I am currently General manager of Petainer Trading, part of the wider Petainer UK Holdings group.

I have experience with a broad range of products including Primary Packaging (PET, HDPE, Steel Can, Carton Systems) and Fibre Packaging (Paper Sacks, Corrugate, Kraft Paper) with some of the world’s most respected and recognisable brands.
I am European Commercial Director for Petainer, responsible for leading all commercial activity, across all products and all routes to market, with a focus on growing and developing new business across Europe.

I have taken a leading role in many of the Petainer Group’s international growth opportunities and expansions since I joined the business in 2011, ranging from new operational facilities to leading our latest business development opportunities in our emerging markets. I have worked all over the world for Petainer, including Asia, the Americas, Russia as well as Europe, focusing mainly on the draught beer market, giving me a global overview of the challenges facing supply.

A creative and collaborative R&D leader with more than 20 years experience in the Beverage Industry. I have delivered breakthrough innovation in new products, quality and manufacturing process that have helped drive significant growth on Beverage brands like Tassimo, Carte Noire and Kenco.
Prior to Petainer I worked in large FMCG businesses such as Jacobs Douwe Egberts and Mondelez International and Kraft Foods supporting business in more than 35 countries in Europe, Americas and Asia .
As New Product Director my team and I are focused on creating the future of PET kegs and bottles that meet the ever increasing sustainability requirements of our consumers and customers, together with improved functionality and performance.

Prior to Petainer I spent 10 years in baby food/infant milk formula manufacturing. I was running the Swedish Semper plant that is part of the Hero group. Earlier experience includes Arla Foods (dairy), Ericsson (phone systems), Asko Group (appliances and furniture) and international transports.
As Group Operations Director I am responsible for the manufacturing in Petainer group with sites located in As, Czech Republic, Lidköping, Sweden, Klin, Russia and Modesto, USA.

My experience encompasses working for Thai OEM sales and project management for foreign clients, before joining the Tetra Laval group in 2011 in end of line Equipment sales. It gave me the opportunity to travel across all South and Pacific Asia, with an emphasis on alcoholic beverage equipment sales and especially beer.
I am now in charge of Petainer sales in Asia, ensuring our existing clients get an even better service while in the meantime looking forward to bringing sustainable PET containers to new markets in this part of the world.
