Beer Scholarships with The Pink Boots Society
Applications are now open for the Petainer Beer Certification scholarships.
Petainer has partnered with The Pink Boots Society – a non-profit organisation created to assist, inspire and encourage women in the beer industry – to offer two Cicerone Level 1 and one Cicerone Level 2 scholarships, in both English and Spanish.
The Certified Beer Server exam allows individuals to quickly demonstrate that they possess a professional body of knowledge and essential tasting skills related to beer. Those who obtain the Cicerone Certification will be able to display the “Certified Cicerone®” logo on their card and correspondence. They will also get listed in the Pink Boots Certification Directory to help them enhance their career prospects and business opportunities.
“…I was already in a position where I was designing beers and managing fermentations using my existing technical knowledge, but I still wanted to keep improving. By offering a scholarship, Pink Boots Society allowed me to do just that”Irena Wise @yuenglingbeer and Head Brewer @wyndridgefarm and Women in Brewing Scholarship Program Recipient.
